During tonight's American Idol they did a short bit on The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and played "Rock and Roll All Night" while showing clips of the HOF despite the obvious oversight of not inducting you all in The Hall of Fame like you deserve. Discuss.

I was just channel surfing, and I came across your show. I was compelled to watch. I am glad that I did. Your show about doing a research paper with your daughter was touching. It is unfortunate, that many think you cant give back without spending money. The afternoon that you and Sophie spent in the VA hospital was probably a memory that those men will take to the grave. Yes you are a celebrity, but more important an AMERICAN. I aplaude you and your daughter for doing that. I am going to find a local hospital in my area, and take my children to visit with real heroes! Maybe we will be able to give back and spread the word!! Thank you again for sharing with us, I truly appreciate it.

   Your idea may be sound. But your "language" is all smoke and mirrors. "Truth in advertising" means you better be able to back up your claim, or you can be sued by people who you misrepresent yourself to. That means, you can't guarantee squat. Because if you guarantee something, and  it fails (and they almost always do -- that's life) YOU are on the hook.
   Guarantee nothing.
   And, in either case, you may not be qualified to assess the success/failure ration of anything.

My name is Eric Freeman and I am a 42 year old (Dad---I too have children) Marketing Professor. I have business experience and now teach online courses. I work close to 90 hours per week or everyday. I appear to work everyday...because I do. I consider it a privilege. Most people in the world are poor and would do anything to have a job. In this country, all anyone wants to do is go on vacation. I have never vacationed and look forward to working every day. So do Buffet, Gates and the other big guys.

While watching the Gene Simmons--Family Jewels episode where you and Sophie do the Marine Corp boot camp and then visit Long Beach Veteran's Hospital, my husband was so taken with your speech
about American heroes that he started crying.

He was so moved that a man of your fame and stature genuinely recognized the efforts of the U.S. military--even the Vietnam veterans, like him. He served 2 terms in Vietnam in the USMC Special Forces/Recon; was shot once; rescued a POW and received 2 Purple Hearts. You really touched his heart Mr. Simmons! Thank you so very much!!

Fifty acres in Muskoka's Ontario, Canada. We raise alpacas and enjoy the simple things. Not such a good idea. And, no matter anyone's reaction to your ideas, never take it personally. It's called BUSINESS. Not FEELINGS. How you feel about something means nothing. And, if you have an idea (here we go again), unfortunately it doesn't fly. As in "My idea is for people to fly!!!" Great idea. Now, how do you do it? How much does it cost? What is needed for airlift? Who pays for building the flying machine? Who pays for training the flyer? And so on and so on.

had to let you know, just watched your "Honor the troops" show from my hotel room. That was the best damn show I've seen in years. I laughed out loud when your daughter busted your butt in training and I teared up when you were visiting the vets. There is a lot of folks in this country that have no idea what some have given to keep us all free. I have plenty of examples of sacrifice in our family and that is why my brother and myself never had to know the hell of war. OUR debt was paid by those that came before us.    You're misinformed. A "Co-Hab" agreement, when signed by both parties, with individual counsel is legally binding and supersedes all laws of the land.  It's the only one that does. A "Pre-Nup" agreement has holes in it -- it supposes you will be married, as in "Pre-Nuptials" ("Before I Get Married")..."Co-Hab" simply means "while we're living together, here is what we have both agreed to."
