KISS is in the hall of fame... at least the NFL has it right. KISS is
featured at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton OH.
In a recent family trip, we stopped by the Pro Football Hall of fame.
It is wall to wall football memorabilia, stats, displays etc.. except for 1
thing.. a glass case featuring a guitar signed by KISS and a photo of the
Demon at work from Super bowl XXXIII. No other mention of any other Bands,
artists, etc that have performed at an NFL event.. Just KISS is singled
out!! ROCK ON NFL !
Hope to see you in Milwaukee soon.

See photos attached of the guitar and Gene.

The thing is - you are so much like my Dad! I have always thought so and now that I see you in your 'Great Dadness' it really cracks me up, touches my heart and brings back such great memories of my Dad. That is a really big gift. Huge. Massive. My favorite moments? When you and Nick were in Aardvarks and you did your Count impression "Ah Ha Haaa! I love to Count!" Can I just tell you how hysterical that was? Also, you were getting suited up, wondering if things would still fit... and you said..."..Just because you hear tuba music every time I walk into a room? ....bum dedum badee bum dedum badee..." I laughed so hard. My Dad was a lot of magnificent things, but the essence of great men surpasses money and worldly success - pride, humour and love - those are truly great!

Dear Gene...

First, as always, GENE SIMMONS FAMILY JEWELS is simply 'must see TV'. Words do not do the show justice - it has to be seen often on TV (then bought on DVD) to be truly appreciated.

I look forward to reading your new book this week when I go and purchase a few copies for myself and as gifts for friends/family.

A question about KISS if I may - I've noticed people asking on and off about Ace and Peter. Personally, I respect their contributions to the band back in the day, and the reunion tour was magic. With all due respect, I feel it's time to move on and let the past stay in the past as it relates to Ace and Peter. With that said, do you feel Tommy and Eric get slighted or perhaps even disrespected for their contributions because some fans remain stuck in the past?

Response from Gene:

Well, we just played to the biggest audiences we've ever played to in Australia, New Zealand and 30 Stadiums in Europe. Not one fan yelled out, not one sign was seen. In fact, I saw signs that said "Tommy Rocks"...You Wanted The Best.

Hi Gene ,

I saw this photo on MetalSludge.com They claim that is you in the white sailor shirt and that's Peter in the back. Is this photo real ?

Yes.

Hey Gene,

"I have a great idea for making money !!! " ---- However, I'm keeping it to myself so I can make all the profit.

That's a joke. As I sit here and read some of these letters and I don't see why so many people feel the need to solicit blind ideas to you. I understand your affiliation with the marketing industry and all you've done in promotions with Kiss and such. But wow, that has really got to get annoying. Some of these are just mindless shots in the dark.

BTW, Yes, I really do have an idea. And I put my own money behind it and it's paying off. Best of luck to you and I hope some of these people will stop treating you like an unpaid business
counselor.

Response from Gene:

   NOW you're getting it.

Hi Gene,

I read in the paper that Pamela Anderson was paid $50,000 just to show up at a party for 1hour....out of curiosity, how much would it cost to hire you for the hour?

Yours,
A

Response from Gene:

More.

Hi Gene,

I was at your book signing in New York on July 11th. I had taken the early train that morning from Providence to await a very special in my life.. finally meeting you!!! I have been a Kiss fan since I was 9, I was listening to Double Platinum on my little tape recorder back then. Growing upand listening to your music made me realize I wanted to play guitar! I want to say thank you once more for the time you spent with me and the rest of the fans that day. I have to admit I was a little nervous though. What I want to say now is that you have been an incredible inspiration to me and that Friday will remain in my memory. It was a chance to say thank you for all that you do and for being such a kind, patient and committed man.
And of course powerful and attractive :-)
Here is a picture from my dream day!

Gene,

I must say that I admire you for several reasons. One of which are your business smarts, in my opinion they are second to none. I have an idea that I feel could make some serious money. It involves network television and I would like to pitch it to you. I know you like making money; we have that in common, how can I get to you. Let me say I will not waste your time, I respect time, it is the one thing you can never get back.

Let’s talk.

Joe Hayes

Response from Gene:

As much as I would love to listen to ideas, they mean little. You must first have funding and or an 'element'.
After I hear your idea, then what? You would still have to 'hire me" and then you would still have to pay for the cost of running your business.

Will you need any hot South Dakota girls to promote the Kiss concert this year in Sturgis? I will be there.

Thanks
Chelsie Ritter
