Hi Gene,
My name is Emily Brack and Im 9 years old and IM YOUR BIGGEST FAN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My Mom made this costume for me on Halloween this year. Every house I went to wanted to take pictures of me. The next day my Mom entered me in a best Kiss costume contest and I won.! My Mom is a big Kiss fan also, that how I found out about you. Mom took me to a Kiss cover band show and I thought it was awesome, but I think it would be alot more cool to see you. My Mom saw you in 1975 in Kansas City, she was only 15 years old.
I showed the kid at school my pictures of my costume, they thought I was nuts and most of them didn't even know who Kiss is.
But most of all I wanted to show you these awsome pictures.
I met Bruce Kulick and he gave me his autographe, I would really really really like a autograph from you.
Ilove you Gene
your number one fan Emily
P.S I love your show.
P.S.S I cant wait till your new CD come out.

Hey Gene,
I'm a 15 year old bassist/guitarist, and I LOVE your bass parts, and you're such an inspiration, and you mean so much to me! I struggle every day at school with idiots and racists who detest my heritage, and you guys are my inspiration to keep going every day. My best release is to come home, strap my bass on, and play DETROIT's triplet flurry till my fingers blister!! I have a question though, I read that you don't know any type of music theory/notation, is this true? I don't either. If not, how did you manage to write so many great songs over the years? Anyway, I've been a fan ever since I was 10 and my uncle played a copy of KISS ALIVE in his car. I asked him who it was, he said "them", he handed me the album cover, and the rest is KISSTORY!!
Again Gene, Thank You So Much for the inspiration.
Good Luck With The New Album!
KISS fan always!!

Gene,
I got to see Nick perform at NAMM this past weekend. He is very talented and really friendly to everyone who came out to see him. I took at few pictures of him and your family. Please enjoy them.
It was great to finally meet you, thank you for being so generous with your time.

My question is about Gene on Myspace. I just joined and put in for a friend request for Gene and his site...or at least what appears to be his site. It's myspace.com/pyscho619 but I have my doubts it it's really him and his site.
Thanks!
Chris
Response from Gene:
I don't have a myspace account. It's fake.

Hey mate!
My name is Josh and currently live in Melbourne - Australia (the last 11 years, I'm originally from the US) and I'm obviously a HUGE KISS/Gene fanatic. Anyway, I believe you recently met my mother at the NAMM show that has just passed. Her name is Debbie, and she is one of NAMM's employes. I think she worked the breakfast you hosted? I'm sure she mentioned to you how I've idolized you since I was a little kid, play bass, use EMG P/U and AMPEG amps,etc.. due to you.
When people asked me "What do you want to be when you grow up"? I would say, Gene Simmons! Haha I know... You must hear that a million times! I was so jealous to find out she got to meet you! You're the only person/celebrity I've ever wanted to meet, not in that "star struck" and just peed my pants - crazed fan sort of way, that must be annoying?!
I first saw KISS live in Las Vegas on the "Creatures Of The Night" tour when I was 8 or 9, and from that day I wanted to play music! I was in a successful death metal band for years and performed many gigs and was signed with a US lable,etc.. but recently parted ways from the band to focus on my Tattooing career. Last KISS gig I attended was at the Melbourne Grand Prix, and was well worth standing out in the heat for about 10 hours, while I was sick as a dog! I have several photos I can email through to you, if you like? Anyway, I'm sure you're very busy and will be surprised if you even get the chance to read this, or any letters from fans.
Take care!
Cheers!
Josh

Gene:
Thanks for kicking our (industry's) ass!!
Your message is powerful and needed!!
I work with NAMM doing Seminars @ the Idea Center.
How did we (the music retail industry) make games more fun than guitars??

Gene,
Short and sweet. Your advice. So easy, so simple, so fucking brilliant !!!!
"I'd rather come in AFTER there is a market."
Exactly. Let someone else pave the road.
