Hi Gene,
I met you in Nashville yesterday – 1st for the Axe Bass, then for the KISS Meet and Greet. You were very generous with your time and great to talk with – thank you!
Best,
Craig Lindsley

Mr. Simmons,
A couple of years ago, I sent a picture of my daughters dressed as Angels and then a picture of them dressed as you and Paul Stanley. Well, now my brother in law has his own little boy. Our kids were in a Halloween Costume Contest and they wanted to go as KISS. I hope you enjoy the picture as much as they enjoyed dressing up as KISS.

PS. My nephew didn't want to remove his makeup.

This is a picture of our dune buggy named Kiss This!! As you can see, you are the hilight of the paint scheme. We take it out to Glamis, CA and it is a big hit with everyone. It has a Ford Mustang Cobra motor with 500 horsepower!!. We have yet to see another one like this. It took two years to be built and worth every penny we paid for it. If you would be interested in seeing it we could bring it to you when you play in Anaheim in Nov. If you would like to see more pictures we will be happy to send them to you.
Thank you for your time,
Tammy & Mike Huard

Can you show Gene this picture. My girls are triplets 6 and 7 year old.I think they have captured the feeling for halloween.
Thanks,
Jim Long

I am a great fan of yours, Gene Simmons, since 2008. Never heard any of your songs (not that I am aware of)) but a fan none the less.Starting watching your TV family show and boy was I hooked.
I am 75 y/o old (a young 75) What a free spirit you are . I admire and respect your principles of life and the love you have for your mother.
Planning to run to the library tomorrow and get your Bio book , know I will fully enjoy it.
Wonderful to have a man in this troubled world to make us forget ,even if only for a short time , life can be ok.
Plan to tell all my senior friends to watch your show, tonight and every Sunday.
I think I will get a few songs ,also.
Best regards to your sweet family

Gene,
Last night I hosted my local communities Halloweenfest. The event is a fun, safe, free event for area children and teens. I wanted to pay tribute to my favorite band and my favorite band member, so I got dressed up as you. I even got the local beauty queen to come as Paul. We had a great time and I took tons of pictures with the locals. Can't wait to see you guys again on the road.

Dear Gene,
Without wasting much of your time i would like to ask you a simple question: in your interview with Dmitri Ehrlich back in 1999 you and Dmitri apparently had this conversation:
DE: Are you satisfied?
GS: Never. While you're above ground, you should never be satisfied. When you're satisfied you should be six feet under. Because when you're the world-champion pole vaulter, are you satisfied? Not if you're a champion.
DE: But dissatisfaction can rob you of your life.
GS: When I was a kid, I remember seeing a Rolls-Royce drive by. I said, "why does he need that Rolls-Royce? Why doesn't he just drive a Volkswagen?" I was a moron.
DE: But once you get one Rolls, do you need twenty-three?
GS: Sure. It's never enough.
I have read all your responses to the letters that have been posted on your website and in one of them you stated how you owned just one truck, traveled in economy class, never bought jewelry for yourself etc. I get your point about not being satisifed with life, its called ambition. But the way you chose to describe it by saying that it was fine to have 23 Rolls-Royce seemed contradictory with your personal approach in life. Probably i failed to understand you, i hope you could clarify. You have sky high ambitions but you also live a simple life dont you? Please do not mind, its just an honest question from a big fan.
Many thanks,
Hamza Gulzar-Lahore
Response from Gene:
To clarify: Life, for me, is never curtailing your ambition, your drive, your will to live --- BIG. But for me, it's not important to drive a Rolls (though I had one many years ago). For me, it's simply the notion that no matter how successful I've been, I want to be more successful at new things.
Clear?
