Just wanted to let you know...there was some sort of convention for radio here in Nashville a few weeks ago. Several artists performed at the event. The country band TRICK PONY played and wore KISS makeup. The girl in the band (Who is the lead singer, I believe) wore Paul's makeup and a picture of her during their performance is on the cover of a local music magazine.

 My friend and myself had an argument the other day about money. He called me cheap because I look for good prices when I buy things. So he asked me, "If there were two lollipops next to each other, and were both the same in every way, but one was $1.60 and the other was $1.70, which would you choose?" I chose the $1.60 one. This led to him continuing his rant about me being cheap saying, "Its just 10 cents!!!". And I was just wondering, which would you choose?

Go get a lollipop and ask your friend for 10 cents...since he doesn't think it's so much. In fact, keep asking him for 10 cents. Sooner or later, he'll refuse to give you dimes. Stand by your instincts. You're right. He's wrong.

I came across your site by coincidence (just as I have two ex-boyfriends who are mad kiss fans by coincidence). Well, I got stuck on the "Letter" page and happened to read page after page, after page.
I always figured that you are a pretty intelligent and fairly educated guy and reading your stands on religion and your family being stuck in concentration camps I felt compelled to write you as well and ask you a question, although I am not a "worthy" fan ;-)
I am German. But I am also a punky, tattooed, PAGAN German who has been dying her blonde hair black for many years. I do not believe in ONE god, or goddess, just as I don't believe in ONE way or path, a concept of heaven or hell, etc.. However, at the risk of sounding kind of stupid: Do you hate Germans?
I have been in the US for over 10 years and I still run into these Rednecks, dumb f***s, racists and sometimes Jewish people who either accuse me of being a Nazi or who seem to despise me based on the country I was born in.
Granted, I also ran into many people, including Jews that love me to death and have been friends with me for a long time. It's just when I am reading about a person who actually has parents that were stuck in concentration camps it breaks my heart and makes me wonder if one would come out of such an experience being hateful/resentful and if passing on such notions wouldn't create the same circle over and over?
I may be German, but in a sense I have been a "minority" for most of my life by merely being myself. So again the questions poses: Do you hate/dislike Germans and if you were single, would you have ever "chosen" a German woman?

I actually have many good memories of Germany and Germans in general. But that does not mean the previous generations weren't evil.

 Are you going to be having an Asshole Party when you're in Portland? If you are, I would like to nominate a local talk radio show host for entrance to your party. His name is Rick Emerson ( http://www.rickemerson.com and he not only is a radio personality here in Portland, but also has a cheesy little band called the Tim Riley Factor that wrote a song called "Gene Simmons Stole My Girlfriend". I hope you'll consider him to be a big enough Asshole to be invited to your party.
