We all know your stance on drinking, drugs, and the like, and I find it very admirable. But I often times wonder. You attend many parties, suraes, and whatnot. Obviously, at many of these events, the majority of your fellow attendees indulge themselves with an adult beverage or two. So I guess my question is, where do you draw the line? Are you fine with people enjoying themselves and getting a little tipsy around you, or do you run such a tight ship that you feel the need to play Big Brother and lecture those who you feel are not adhering to the same lifestyle as yourself?

Obviously, there is a difference between those of us who have a few every now and then in the company of friends, and those who actually have 'problems'. My question is, how do you yourself differentiate? How do you react in these situations? Obviously, if you refused to interact with anyone that ever had touched drink or drug, you'd probably be a very lonely man. So how do you do it? What is your official stance on those that drink, but don't neccissarily have a 'drinking problem'?

Good question. I have a very simple philosopy that includes everything and everyone. It goes like this.

If I like your company, I stay. If I don't, I move on.
No lecturing. No posing. You are allowed to get high, get drunk and smoke, but not around me.

I have written to you a few times and you have  posted one of my letters. with pictures of a KISS tribute show in Brazil.

There are  some  very important things that I wish I could tell you personally, but as I can't , fortunately there is this place of ours.
Even though you don't know me,  I fees as I have always known you, because I have followed your career, and listend to your songs.
I want to meet you one day and thank you for all the good things I have learned from you;  since I first listend to KISS in the 70s, until know, after I read your books. They have made my life with my husband much better and I could also show my sons your ideas about sex, marriage and money. Lucky them to be able to read such an excellent book while they are young. !!!
Both are musicians. the younger, André 20, goes to a music university in Germany since 2002. The other one IAN, 24 plays the bass in a rock band and runs a music studio in São Paulo. He has  ( for the time being ), two girlfriends, and the three of them get along very well. There is a lot of respect and freedom in their relationship. And love too.  I have read some parts of your book SEX MONEY KISS to him, and he could really identify with you and even took some of your sayings and put in one of his fanzines. Like you used to do as a boy, he also writes and draws his magazines and sell  them in shows.

Well gene, thanks for being my guide ( along with KISS ) and my sons'  too !

Oh MY GOD! I just came across this website by pure accident... LOVE IT!!! Well, let's see, where do I start? I've been a fan of yours since age 13 (now 40). I can't even count the times I've seen KISS in concert... I've also had the great pleasure of meeting you a couple of times. You are absolutely the best looking man I've ever seen in my entire life; and after I met you, I realized you are a sweet, gentle, and kind person as well.

The last couple years of my life have been full of crisis for me in a lot of ways, but I swear to you... I put on a KISS album and it just seems to make everything not seem so BAD. Does that make any sense at all?

When on tour, do you travel in a bus that you own or rent, and do each of the guys in the band have their own bus, or do you all share?

I read an article that all 5 guys from KORN bought their own tour buses, to the tune of $1,000,000. Waste of money or smart business?

I have downloaded some clips of the band off kissonline. Besides all of the stories I hear it is obvious the relationship between some of the band members is very icy to say the least and has been for a long time.

Howcan you be on the road together for so long under these circumstances. Do you just turn up and don't speak to one another, do the show and walk away until the next show?
