January 25th -

   Just came back from Phoenix with Rich Abramson, where the great Drivers of INDY were testing their "rockets' -- because, that's what they are!!! 220 mph....average. Amazing. They have wings in the front of the cars, to keep them on the ground and TO PREVENT THEM FROM FLYING OFF THE ROAD.
   Drivers Tony Kanann, Danica Patrick, Tomas Scheckter and the rest of these fantastic athletes were all there.
   We brought along the fine folks at EXTRA to shoot the event and our new friends at UNIVISION came to support the only multi-national, multi-racial racing league.

GENE SIMMONS CREATES 'MOTHER & BABY' TELEVISION SHOW -- 'BABY 101"

"Madison Road Ent, a Los Angeles based entertainment company, has announced it has signed an agreement with Gene Simmons to produce 'BABY 101.'

Madison Road Entertainment is a Los Angeles-based branded entertainment studio serving the broadcast television and advertising industries. Our primary function is to develop and exploit large-scale network television opportunities through which advertisers can more effectively reach their audience. Opportunities include television projects originally developed by Madison Road, as well as those co-developed with or wholly owned by the US television networks.

By functioning as an advertiser-supported studio, Madison Road operates with negligible risk while dramatically improving revenue per episode of affected primetime programming – thus increasing chances for success and positively impacting both network and studio cash flows as well as advertiser targets for the audience’s ‘share of mind’. 

Presently, MRE has a series that is their own original production with Imagine Entertainment entitled Treasure Hunters, a CBS telenovela with Jonathon Prince and Jackie Collins Dirty Laundry.  They have had brand integrations in The Apprentice, America's Next Top Model, Bernie Mac, Last Comic Standing, and several others. In addition, Madison Road has an exclusive branded entertainment partnership with NASCAR.

   Every day we get up and get more excited...Every day the story gets bigger. We're not sharing a lot of it with you, because we'd rather hit you over the head with it -- all at once.

   Spent the day at NAMM Convention in Anaheim with young Nick and our GENE SIMMONS FAMILY JEWELS film crew.
   We walked through the crowds, said hello to as many people as we could...jammed a little and worked the phone for our most exciting New Venture with (...you guessed it) INDY!!!

January 21st -

   Visited Miss JENNA JAMESON on her live Playboy TV show...Was a Judge to determine who the next "Jenna" was going to be. Jenna was, as always, charming, funny and beautiful. We also brought along our GENE SIMMONS FAMILY JEWELS cameras, so you can see all the action when we go on the air early Summer.

January 20th -

   Woke up this morning -- early, to go on ESPN's COLD PIZZA to talk about my new passion in life: INDY!!!. Check out INDYCAR.COM for details and read the SIMMONS ABRAMSON MARKETING - INDY story underneath.
   Yesterday, young good lookin' NICK SIMMONS and I did voices for CARTOON NETWORK's ROBOT CHICKEN. Creator Seth Green (who has a great NBC TV show on the air, and was in AUSTIN POWERS) was there directing all the action. Seth apparently does a lot of the writing and producing of this killer show.

January 17th -

   Just came back from a hectic but exciting day at the BRANDED ENTERTAINMENT CONFERENCE held in Hollywood, where I was Keynote Speaker, "The Gene Simmons Brand." Self serving title, but it did the job.. The conference was a think tank/meeting ground for various entities to hob nob and make deals.
   Rich Abramson, my esteemed partner in our newly launched SIMMONS ABRAMSON MARKETING was up there with me. We shook hands, took numbers and made deals.
   The highly respected head of UNIVISION in LA, Mr. Jorge Delgado was there to support us, and it's appreciated.
   Our friends at INDY, with whom we are proud to be working with, were all there: CEO Tony George, Phil Lengyel, Todd Crawford (who brought us over to Indy) and the INDY team. You will be hearing about all of this very soon.

   Those of you who watch cartoons, may be aware of MY DAD THE ROCK STAR, my cartoon show (showing on Nicktoons in the US and 24 countries around the world, I'm proud to say). The amazing and gratifying thing is that we continue to do so well in ratings. In the patois of the street, we're kicking butt.
   That means you're watching.

January 2nd -

   Just got back from MAMMOTH, California. For those of you who aren't familiar with it, it's a small community that sits atop 7,000 feet of mountains. All snow covered. People go there to unwind and ski and snowboard.
   My two muppets and Miss Tweed tried snowboarding. They fared better than I did. Unfortunately for me, my prat falls will be chronicled in an upcoming GENE SIMMONS FAMILY JEWELS (A&E) episode.
