Thank you for coming out to Camp Pendleton Gene and Tommy!! It means a lot that you support us. Here are a few photos I took. I am going to take my all my KISS music to Iraq for motivation.

"It was a privilege and an honor."
 Started the day early with young NICK and MISS TWEED -- appeared on LA's KTLA Morning show and then in the afternoon, did TYRA BANKS SHOW.
Tyra couldn't have been nicer. And, Nick and Tyra traded vocal licks back and forth -- a cappella (just singing -- without a music track). You'll see it soon enough.
Meantime, if you've been living under a rock and haven't noticed the billboard across the highways of America, or the magazine ads, or been listening to radio, you may not know that our GENE SIMMONS FAMILY JEWELS can be seen SUNDAY nights at 9PM. The shows are also repeated throughout the week, usually on WEDNESDAYS.
If you didn't know, Season II is an instantaneous smash!!! We're supposed to be humble and not say stuff like that. Humble be damned!!! Either it's true or not.

Woke up at 5:45 am to do Satellite Radio Tour interviews across the country to promote our (..ahem) SMASH HIT Season II of GENE SIMMONS FAMILY JEWELS (A&E).
Later in the afternoon, NBC's TODAY SHOW came by to interview me re a British Study. It seems, the study reports, that the 'brighter' of our scholars tend to prefer Heavy Metal and Hard Rock to Classical Music. I am reminded of another study, which concluded that Hard Rock made cows produce more milk, than Classical Music.
Make of it what you will.
Tomorrow, I'm up at 5:00 am to start another round of Satelite Radio.

Times Square ASS-vertisement Promotion
Yes, kiddies. Here I am with Members of the Family, promoting our Season II Premier on top of the Hard Rock in Times Square in New York City. Traffic stopped. Cops came to see what the commotion was about and decided to join in on the fun and wave to the cameras.
A good time was had by all.
The MAN.....................and the ladies.................in all his glory.
 If you missed the opening race of the new INDYCAR season, you missed a lot. Two car crashes occurred in the Pro Series Race...and both my partner, RICH ABRAMSON and I had a ball liaising with business to business entities, tv/radio/print media and meeting with new potential IndyCar sponsors.
In short, I invite you to check out the fastest cars on Earth -- yes, even faster than Europe's Formula 1. Let me give you an idea how fast these cars (better called "rockets"!!!!) are.
If an IndyCar drives at 240 miles per hour (and they can and do), and if you put em on the ceiling...and if they drove at that speed continually, THEY WOULD NEVER FALL AND CONTINUE TO DRIVE ON YOUR CEILING...in essence, they are defying gravity and....flying....
Matter of fact, IndyCars have WINGS at the front of the cars, tilted DOWN...That's called "Downforce"...and the reason they are there, is to prevent the cars from FLYING OFF THE TRACK!!!.

HOWARD STERN, who is soon to marry (!!!) his girlfriend BETH (...of course her name is Beth!!!) teamed up with Shannon to torture me about marriage and groupies...I wanted to curl up in a ball and die. For some reason Howard thinks Shannon has pink clouds coming out of backside. She can do nothing wrong. Me?
I'm the bad guy.
But, that's my job.
I just wanted to say how great you both look.

 Young NICK TWEED SIMMONS made his debut at the WIZARD WORLD CONVENTION, signing posters of the cover of his forthcoming self written/drawn comic book, SKULLDUGGERY (IDW).
I was right next to him, signing posters of my SIMMONS COMICS GROUP/IDW covers - DOMINATRIX, ZIPPER, and GENE SIMMONS HOUSE OF HORRORS (cover by Todd McFarlane). And, I must tell you, it was exhilirating seeing Nick see it, feel it for the first time. The sense that what you do actually connects with people, is an amazing thing.
All of it was filmed for our GENE SIMMONS FAMILY JEWELS tv program, debuting 20 NEW EPISODES this coming SUNDAY, MARCH 25TH on A&E.
 Jane Wells and the CNBC crew were here to discuss SIMMONS COMICS GROUP, my new joint venture with IDW PUB. Chris Ryall/IDW was also here. You can watch our interview on CNBC's SQUAWK BOX show today and rerun on Monday.

GENE SIMMONS ROCK SCHOOL Season II debuted
on Canada's MuchMusic -- March 12th, 2007
The second series of the English reality series Gene Simmons Rock School kicks off at 6 pm tonight in Canada on MuchMusic. In the second season of the show, made by British production company RDF Media (it aired in the UK last year), Gene has to turn pupils from Kirkley Community High School in Lowestoft into a rock band – named Hoax UK – opening up for Judas Priest and Anthrax in Los Angeles. Meanwhile, the group’s singer (Lil’ Chris) has released a solo album, off of which the first single reached the number 3 spot in the UK Singles Chart late last year.

IDW's Deal With the Demon and his Spawn, Nick Simmons, to be Announced at Wizard World LA
Gene Simmons and his son Nick Simmons will be appearing at the WizardWorld Los Angeles Comic Convention at the IDW Publishing panel on Saturday, March 17 at 11 AM to discuss their latest comic book venture, detailed below!
 San Diego, CA (March 13, 2007)— He has the most famous tongue in the world. He created the two-fingered "horns" salute everyone uses at sports events (and, of course, they all stick their tongues out while doing the salute). Did we mention he also spits fire, throws up blood and has probably bedded down your sister?
Mostly, he has grown up with, deeply loves and knows more about comic books than you would imagine. He will reel off who lettered (!!!) the first six issues of almost any Marvel comic, and tell you with certainty about the history of the medium (whether you ask him to or not). So great is his love for the art form, that his college paper was (rightfully) called 'THE SOCIAL SIGNIFICANCE OF THE PANEL GRAPHIC ART FORM. Grade? A+. And, when this soon-to-be Demon was teaching sixth grade in Spanish Harlem (!!!), he brought in a Spider-Man comic to use as a teaching device.
He has, in fact, been a super hero himself... in the pages of KISS COMICS (starting with Marvel's two $1.50 comic book specials from the '70s). He can boast of having fought Dr. Doom to a standstill. But never before has this multi/hyphenate (rock star/ marketer/brander/TV and movie producer/best-selling author and lecturer) created his own, comic book imprint.
Until now, that is.

I was proud to be a part of a School Charity Concert Event in support of the Wildwood School. The funds raised, went to inner city kids to give them a chance at a better education.
I was handed the job of putting some of the talent together. TOMMY THAYER immediately said yes. STEWART COPELAND, who was in the midst of the upcoming POLICE rehearsals likewise committed. And, STEVEN STILLS, he of BUFFALO SPRINGFIELD, MANASSAS, and of course CROSBY STILLS & NASH joined the fun . I ran into blues legend SOLOMON BURKE at another event, and only had to ask once if he'd help. He didn't hesitate.
REBA MACCINTIRE, TRACY ULLMAN, and other terrific talent also joined in on the fun.
Everyone did a set, Stewart Copeland played with Steven Stills' band. Steven's daughter and son played in his band. .
And then, Tommy and I (with Darren and Fran) played DEUCE and DR. LOVE.
What happened next can only be described as "hold on to your seat belts. It's gonna get bumpy".... I introduced the powerful NICK TWEED SIMMONS, then SOLOMON BURKE, STEVEN STILLS and STEWART COPELAND... and we all jammed!!!
First, we did a boogie blues jam in A. Solomon yelled out the riff, we immediately copied it and went off. We came up for air about 10 minutes later to huge applause.
And then, the highlight of the evening. The School Jazz Band (all 15 of them, with their guitars, keyboards, basses and drums) ran out on stage and the entire ensemble played, jammed and soloed with the Doors' ROADHOUSE BLUES, -- NICK and SOLOMON BURKE trading lead vocals.

A night to remember.

Our GENE SIMMONS FAMILY JEWELS tv crew filmed us at Camp Pendleton over a few days. Sophie and I first visited there and went through (one day's worth) of Basic Training.
Sophie, as the Marines like to say got and "Git Some"....ask a Marine what it means.
Then, Tommy Thayer and Darren Leader and Fran on fabulous bass got up and performed for a combine Military Force of Navy, Army, Air Force and Marines....
It was a very emotional experience and would make anyone proud of the men and women who risk their lives -- without asking for anything...without getting fame or recognition...without much pay (a few hundred dollars)...all they want to know is that they are risking their lives and 'IT MATTERS".
IT DOES.
Here we are with America's Pride and Joy. One of them (and he asked NOT to be singled out) is a PURPLE HEART Award recipient. He survived. Most Purple Heart Awards are sent to families. I'm sure you understand the implication.
Be Proud. Be Aware. You are protected by the World's Finest Fighting Force. And, they are protecting the Greatest Country In The World.
In this day and age, people find it hard to admit. It's not politically correct. Other countries don't want to hear this kind of sentiment. Tough.

 my name is Sylvain i'm from Montreal Quebec, Sorry but my english is not very good. Here in Montreal at The SRC television (national french canadian television across the Canada) we have a tv show that called " Les Invincibles" (The Invincibles) and one of the principal character "Rémi" is a HUGE fan of KISS, and he thinks that her mother lied to him about his conception... for many reason he thinks that his father is Gene Simmons... very funny situation, and a very good series.
This is huge serie here in Quebec, and this is the synopsis : Meet The Invincibles: Rémy, Carlos, JP and Steve. Four guys who are around 29 years old and increasingly worried. Each one is staring down the barrel of a fast approaching 30th birthday and facing the same fearsome realization: time has flown by and he just hasn't had his fair share of fun. These are four buddies who spent their twenties doing the right thing by building stable relationships with their girlfriends. The small comforts and daily routines of conjugal life are already second nature to them as they head for the menacing serenity of their thirties. Is it too late? Or is there enough fun-time left for one final hurrah? What if our four friends decide that they need a therapeutic cocktail of wild times, young dude craziness and fresh female conquests?

It's sad, that the producers cannot use some Kiss songs for their show. I suppose they dont have the rights for this.

Simmons and Tweed put on a good face for 'Family Jewels'
 Gene Simmons and longtime companion Shannon Tweed were hoping to make the second season of A&E's half-hour reality series Gene Simmons Family Jewels, premiering March 25 (9 p.m. ET/PT), less intrusive for themselves and their two teenagers.
So why did the Kiss frontman and former Playboy Playmate of the Year decide to go for dual face lifts on two episodes airing April 1?
"Honest to God, it just sort of happened," says Simmons, 57, who had a face lift and liposuction, to be featured on two April 1 episodes.
What you'll see, according to Simmons, is "like a biology class … more fascinating than gory."
Tweed, who turns 50 March 10, had her face lift done by the same Beverly Hills surgeon. "Plastic surgery was Gene's idea. But I wasn't going to let him look younger than me," she says.
Family Jewels averaged 1.3 million viewers last season, A&E's highest-rated original series since 2004's Dog the Bounty Hunter. That led to this new 20-episode season.
"They are an incredibly functional, loving family," says Robert Sharenow, A&E's chief of non-fiction programming. "It's surprising and unexpected."

We are finishing the last few GENE SIMMONS FAMILY JEWELS shows (20 New Episodes in all)...and in between running around working on our various ventures, we are also doing foto shoots, interviews and looking over Billboard, magazine advert campaigns.
Yesterday was PEOPLE magazine, NATIONAL INQUIRER....today foto shoots...tomorrow STAR magazine...
