KISS’ Gene Simmons had a busy trip in Des Moines that included meeting a terminally ill fan and a stop at Hy-Vee

It’s no secret that KISS played an electric show in Des Moines Tuesday night as part of the rock band’s alleged final tour.
KISS’ frontman Gene Simmons also had a whirlwind of a time in Iowa’s capital city both prior to the show and the day after as he made time visit a terminally ill fan and stopped by the downtown Hy-Vee to promote his branded soda.
Local news station KCCI reported that Craig Warner, a Des Moines man diagnosed with ALS and expected to live four to six months, was able to fulfill one of his lifelong wishes by seeing KISS perform live.
